Touch-a-Truck

Every year in our lovely town of Thousand Oaks there is a touch-a-truck event where tons of trucks and other cool vehicle are on display for children to climb all over. Ian has a blast but Quintin wanted to do somethings he was just to little for. Hopefully next year we will be here and Quintin can ride in the trucks, too. :)

Touch-a-truck

Ventura County Sheriff motorcycle
He is listening very intently to what Ian is telling him

Pretending to ride while making motorcycle sounds

Waiting for the train

So excited for the ride to start

Very proud Ian. Quintin is just along for the ride. :)

Practicing their building skills

Behind Ian is a water truck with hoses. No actual fire truck this year. :(

Big Fed Ex truck

U.S Navy stuff. Ian loves to ruin pictures.

Quintin wanting to get in the car too.

Inside a hummer

A helicopter landed in the field right next to us. There was a huge line so we didn't go inside.

A little fun break.

Safety Helmets

Bounce House

Fill the dump truck up with balls then it dumps them out again.

Bomb Squad

Ian controlling the bomb squad machine

This is what he was controlling

The end. Time to go home!!

How cool is that! What a fun idea for kids, minus the part where school's out and there were probably a million people there.
