Snowboardin' TO

There is a park in town that created a grass hill with a truck full of dirt and a bunch of fake grass and there is a bucket of cardboard pieces to use to slide down!! The boys had so much fun surfing/grassboarding down the hill. What a great idea!! Hours of fun!!

Another Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my adorable niece MacKenzie!!

She turned 3 today and we celebrated at this really interesting park in Victorville. It has animals to look at, a water play park, a normal park, camp grounds, paddle boats, etc. We got there around 10 and it was perfect weather but by the time noon rolled around it was so freaking hot. I have been so spoiled living in my little Thousand Oaks cocoon. We left a little after 1pm because it stared being windy. Wind and dust do not mix. The boys and I were so dirty when we got hope we jumped right into the shower. Ewww.

Touch-a-Truck

Every year in our lovely town of Thousand Oaks there is a touch-a-truck event where tons of trucks and other cool vehicle are on display for children to climb all over. Ian has a blast but Quintin wanted to do somethings he was just to little for. Hopefully next year we will be here and Quintin can ride in the trucks, too. :)

Monday night for family night we went to the mall for free Hot Dog on a Stick night!! Yep free food. We had so much fun in the mall as a family!!

Ian's 3rd birthday

We celebrated Ian's birthday yesterday because Jared was home and Uncle Justin and Aunt Liz and the kids could come visit that day!! We had so much fun even though we didn't do anything super huge. I mean, he is 3 for heaven sakes. :) For breakfast I made Ian's favorite: Puff Pancakes. Then for lunch we had build your own pizzas and had cake and ice cream afterwards. Then we opened presents!! Aunt Liz was so kind to video tape the goings on!! Ian got so much stuff for such a little party. :) Then we ALL took a nap, moms and dads too!! Then Liz and I made a yummy dinner, Swedish meatballs!! Ian's favorite and mine too!! After dinner we went to the park and played to get some more energy out!! All in all it was a wonderful day full of memories. Happy Birthday Ian!!
