Spamalot

Last night Jared took me to see Spamalot for the second time! We saw the traveling cast in Salt Lake the first time but this cast was much better!! Half of this cast is from the original cast from Broadway!! They were amazing. If you haven't seen this show, you should. But warning: If you don't like Monty Python humor you won't like this show!! It is playing in LA at the Ahmanson through Sep 6 and if you go the day of you can get rush tickets for $20. Hope you like it. :)

Beach Time...again

Once again the perks of living in So Cal is going to beach whenever you want!! I went with my friend Tami and her 2 boys and we had the best time. The weather was perfect, the people around us were so nice, and we got to see a headless dead seal!! It couldn't make for a better day. (I hope you can sense the sarcasm of the last point, I was laying it on kinda thick). But really the weather was perfect and the people were nice. :) I didn't take any pictures of the seal cause it was really gross. There have been shark sitings in Malibu so it is rumored a shark bit off the head, but I don't think it was. They boys were so good and we managed to stay for 3 1/2 hours!! That is a record with my boys. I always aim for 2. This time we went to Zuma and I really liked it!

When the bee stings...

Poor Ian. He got stung by a bee not once but twice this week!! Both times on his poor little foot. He is such a trooper though. He sat there very patiently while I took out the stinger and made a mud pie to put on his foot to take out the venom. I hope, for his sake, he doesn't get stung again! He doesn't seem to care much afterwards either. Thank goodness for little kid memories. :)

Pirate Days

Today we went to the Ventura Harbor and celebrated pirate days with all the crazy pirate people. It is just an excuse to wear their Halloween costumes. :) We had a fun time. They had costumes contests, learn to talk like a pirate, sword fights, and even a pirate wedding! Ian had fun until it was time to go. We might try going again next year.

Beat the Heat

Okay. So this morning I broke down a bought a pool!! Killer deal cause all the summer stuff is on sale. Why? I have no idea cause it is still summer!! The boys had so much fun playing in it. We only filled it up with about 5 inches of water and they still had fun!! It was a lot bigger then it looked on the box!! Hopefully this will last us the rest of summer.

Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble

I should never going to the Disney store because every time we leave with something. This time Ian wanted a bubble machine and I thought "Cool, now I don't have to sit outside and blow bubbles", so I got it!! It was only 6 bucks normally $15.50!! I couldn't pass it up and it has proved hours of fun already!! And yes I know, my kids are never fully dressed at home. It's too hot to wear clothes. Oh the joys of being a kid.

Where is Quintin?

A couple of day ago before bed time I was giving the boys a little snack and normally I just ket them run around with the otter-pops in the back yard but they had already taken a bath so I didn't want them going outside. Ian sat at the dining room table and I put Quintin in his chair. With Quintin contained I though it would be a perfect time to update the blog, check e-mail, go on facebook, etc. Well, about a half and hour later I start looking around and I can't find Quintin!! Ian is sitting on the couch watching Duck Tales with Jared. I am running through the house and looking outside frantic to find my baby and only thinking the worst. I didn't even check the kitchen because there was no noise coming from there. When I can back I went in there and this is what I saw....

I had totally forgotten about him, so he went to sleep. I felt so bad.

Santa Barbara Zoo

Grandma Pollock took us too the Zoo yesterday!! It was the most beautiful day and we all has so much fun!! We got to feed the giraffe and it was cool but gross. The kids were so well behaved. Quintin got hurt sliding down the hill and I got it all on video. I was too busy recording the fall that I didn't catch him. :( Bad mommy. Can't wait to go again next year!!
