Fiesta

The boys and I went to a birthday party on saturday and had so much fun. The look all red and hot and sweaty in the pics because they were running around and it was hot. The boys got to hit a pinata for the first time and they loved it!! My friend made the pinata herself!!  She is quite amazing.

10. There are half-full, brightly-colored plastic cups on the floor in every room. Three are in the bathtub.

9. There's always that one girl, bawling her eyes out in a corner.

Birthday Celebrations

Ian has been having a hard time dealing with the move, so we decided to go all out for his birthday and make it an extra special day. 

For his birthday breakfast Ian told me he wanted donuts.

I took Ian to Krispy Kreme so he could see how donuts were made and he could choose the one he wanted.

I has extra protection in the car. I couldn't have them back with the kids because they would pop them. Don't worry I wasn't driving.

Quintin could have cared less about presents, cake and pizza. All he wanted to do was play games and ride on this kids carousel. 

Ian lucked out on presents. We said no toys so he got tons of games and books!!

4 years and counting...

On June 8, 2006 at 5:50pm PST Ian Jared Pollock was born. I can't believe it has been 4 years already!!

Memorial Day

We had a very late spring this year in Utah. Last monday when we were going to plant our garden, it snowed!! And this monday the people that were going to rototill our garden were out of town for the holiday so we decided to get our seeds started. They boys had so much fun putting the seeds in the dirt.

After we got everything planted we decided to take a drive up the canyon and go to cascade springs. Just as we were at the mouth of the canyon I realized I did not have any money on me and it costs to go into the scenic drive part!! So we stopped in Vivian Park where the Heber Creeper train stops. We got to see the train and the boys were so excited. Jared and I have ridden on it before but the boys have not. We decided we are going to take them on the train this year.

It was windy as you can tell by my lovely hair.

Then we walked through the canyon on a lovely paved path.

We told Quintin he could take 1 rock and he chose this huge one. 

Then we came back at took naps before we had out Memorial Day BBQ.

We headed over to the park by our house and when we got there we realized that the park does not have BBQs!  I never noticed! Jared and my Dad had to go back to our house and BBQ on our George Foreman since we don't have a real BBQ. While we were waiting Quintin decided to jump in the fountain.

It was a fun Memorial day after all!!
