March 8

On March 8 we went to visit my grandmother's grave for her birthday and to give her flowers from my mom. We had my amazing friend come and take pictures. She did great with what she had to work with. My kids are not very keen on getting their pictures taken.

Wiggle cars!!

We just returned from a short trip to Utah and we had a lot of fun when it wasn't snowing. It was 85 degrees one day then snowing the next!! I hate spring in Utah! When the days were nice we could play outside.

Ikea Fun

After a long drive through the night we went to go waste some more energy at Ikea!! Ian loves playing with his cousin Lena. I forgot how much better the Utah Ikea is! It is so less crowded the the one near us.

Emergency Room NIghtmare

For those of you that don't know or those of you that do and want the whole story here it is. More or less...

Victorville 5:00p.m I am starting to feel pains in my stomach but I shrug it off as normal "girl" pains.

Somewhere on the 210 freeway I am starting to feel nauseated and I throw up in one of Quintin's bottles. :)

8:30p.m back in Thousand Oaks I crawl into bed and try not to move the pain is so bad.

11:30 p.m I wake up and throw up all over Jared and our bed. Yep and Jared says he stills loves me.

Midnight After I shower I am banished to the couch to sleep out the rest of the night while Jared cleans up the mess. What an amazing husband I have. At this point I am so dizzy and delirious I really have no idea what is going on.

7:00 a.m I wake up after a restless night and grab the laptop to self diagnose what is wrong with me. After a phone call to my mom I decide to go to Urgent care.

8:30 a.m We drop off the kids with an amazing girl in our ward so they can play with her kids.

8:50 a.m Arrive at urgent care

9:50 a.m I finally get seen and he tells me to go to the emergency room. Why did I come here in the first place?

10:10 a.m Arrive at emergency room

11:30 a.m Finally get admitted and I get an IV. They take mountains of blood. I am not pregnant so that ruled out ectopic pregnancy.

1:00 p.m A doctor finally came to look at me to see what was wrong!!! I love how fast the ER is...NOT!! He presses on my stomach in a few places and orders an ultrasound of my appendix.

2:00 p.m I am wheeled through the ER to the ultrasound room. Get an ultra sound but the the tech can't see the appendix but she does a test for rebound pain and I start jump and scream. It hurt so bad it made me cry. She was worried about that result.

2:30 p.m. Doctor come in with nurse to talk about options. He doesn't think it is my appendix because it would have shown up on an ultrasound but my white blood cell count was high and I had the rebound pain on the lower right side of my body. He decides to order a CT scan.

3:00 p.m CT tech come in with grossness in a cup. I have to drink 1 cup every 15 minutes for a total of 4 cups. Jared was the drink nazi.

4:00 p.m I am wheeled to get the CT scan. A very interesting experience. "Breathe in, breathe out, stop breathing.............BREATHE!! The have to tell you breathe again. I thought that was interesting.

5:00 p.m The doctor come in whole I am in the bathroom and tells Jared the CT was negative and everything looks fine. It is a viral infection that had affected my organs like appendicitis would have.

5:30 p.m We leave to go get the kids and relieve my friend from watching them. She said the were really well behaved. My kids?

5:45 p.m We arrive home. I eat a little bit of soup and then lay on couch to watch a movie before I go to bed.

So it turned out to be all right in the end but I never want to go to the ER again. It is noting like the ER on TV. It was actually very boring. :(

I got busted

So apparently this is what Ian thinks I do all day long. I won't deny it, but I don't do it all day. He wanted to see the appeal, I guess. When Daddy asked Ian what we did today Ian ran over to the computer and opened it up like the pictures below. I got busted!! No more excuses for a messy house, huh?

Happy Anniversary!!

Today Jared and I are celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. I know most people think we have been married longer because we are so old and have 2 kids. :) Our wedding was the most wonderful day of our lives and we are so excited that many of you were there too! For those of you that weren't we put together a slide show for you.

What I loved about our wedding:

Jared: what more can I say, he is the love of my life

The LA Temple: Both of our parents were married there so it felt extra special getting married there too. :)

My Flowers: my bouquet was the heaviest, most amazing bouquet in the whole wide world and my mom made it!! And my other flowers made everything perfect!!

My cake: The most amazing cake in the whole wide word. We designed it and we still talk about how yummy it it!!

My dress: I loved my wedding dress. who doesn't love their wedding dress!!

My family and friends: I love that so many got to share this special day with us!!

My videographer: Ryan was a gift from my parents friends and we have cherished our wedding video. Pictures are wonderful but there is something about having a video of of helps us relive it better. We feel like we are there!! Check him out here.

Bath time at Grandma's

Grandma and Grandpa Pollock's house is kind of under construction so we had to bathe the kids in the sink. They loved it! It had been a long time since Ian had been bathed in the sink. The place where we are living now does not make it possible to do so. I bet they can't wait to take a bath in the sink again!!

Don't Worry

I haven't forgotten about my blog. I lost the cable to my camera (I meaning my kids) and soon  I will have pictures up. Yesterday we took some cute family pics and we are waiting to get those back so stay tuned for some fun!

I've fallen and I can't get up

I don't know what attracts kids to small places but Ian like to crawls into tight spots. Today he tried to get in his bucket and was a unsuccessful. He got stuck and kept yelling. "Stuck Mommy!!" What kind of mom would I be if I didn't stop to take pictures first? And the funny thing is Ian smiled and said "cheese!"
