Life's a Beach

The best part of us living in California is that we live in the best part of it! We are close to Los Angeles is we want to do stuff there and we are close to the beach!! We took the opportunity of our closeness to visit our local beach! Ian has never been to the beach and he enjoyed it very much. He got all the way wet in his clothes and didn't care one bit! Quintin didn't like the water, :( maybe next time.

Look who's walking

Finally after 13 1/2 months Quintin is walking. My first boy Ian walked at 10 months so I was a little annoyed that he was walking so late. He took his first steps right before we left for Utah and really took off in Utah. Daddy saw the first steps but missed the progression into full blown walking. Another milestone has passed and my baby is growing up. :(

Dinosaur Museum

I almost forgot about this trip tot he museum we did while we were in Utah!!  We visited the world's largest dinosaur museum!! It was very interesting and we learned a lot. Ian wanted to touch everything so good thing they had a lot of hands on things to do!!

They had a create a dinosaur corner where you could build your own! This one has 2 heads.

At the end there was a place where you can dig for bones all on your own. There were brushes to use while you excavated the site!

He wasn't very happy with me because I kept making him get out of the exhibits. There are bars for a reason!!

I don't know if you can see this very well but this is a prehistoric turtle fossil. Now do you know why I am scared of turtles!!

My Niece Kennedy is 4!

On tuesday we went out to Victorville to celebrate the 4th Birthday of my cute niece Kennedy. We had so much fun and the kids got really dirty playing in the backyard!! Kennedy loved being the center of attention even though Mackenzie (Kennedy's sister) and Ian (my boy) were trying to take center stage thinking it was their birthday. Ian loves to blow out candles and that is the hardest thing to keep him away from, as you can see from the pic!! Quintin wished he was a big boy and could go outside bit he would just eat dirt.

Sledding

Today we celebrated my nephews 4th birthday on the Robinson's side. For our activity we decided to go sledding and the boys had so much fun, and so did Mommy!! I think we were there for about an hour which beats last years record of 1 run. Ian was little and he fell and wanted to go home last time. This time he had no fear and he actually went down on his own a couple of times!!

We made it

We made it to Utah, well actually we made it monday morning around 10:30am MST. We spent the night at my bro and sis-in-laws house in Victorville and Ian had a rough time sleeping and he woke up at 12:30am and I could not get him to calm down. I am so mad I said "That's it! We're leaving now!" So we took off at around 1:30am and drove all night long. I was so tired when I got to my parents house I crashed on the couch. It actually turned out well because the boys slept the whole way here, well almost. 

We have had fun so far and Sat we are going sledding!! Can't wait. Don't worry, I'll take pics!! I think we are scheduled to leave on the 24th to come home. Depending on snow. Fun, fun, fun.

Resolutions for 2009
