I confess

In the moms group I am in we are starting to read this book for our book club. When we finish reading it we are going to see the movie for a mom's night out! I am not even like the girl in this book but I like to shop for things for my family or house. I don't spend $2000 on a shirt. Anyways, I can't wait to see how it pans out. 

Christmas Eve Eve

On Christmas Eve Eve aka Dec 23rd we went out to Justin and Elizabeth's house in Victorville and had a fun-filled evening!. We ate yummy calzones for dinner and had pumpkin pie for dessert. Yum. Afterwards we attempted to get all the grandkids together for a group shot. What an ordeal!! We at least got them on the same couch. Merry Christmas.

Quintin's First Haircut

How lucky!! Quintin's Aunt Elizabeth gave him his first haircut and he was so good. He just sat there eating his sucker and let Auntie Elizabeth do the rest!! He looks so dapper now!!

St. Lucia

Every year us Swedes celebrate St. Lucia's feast day on Dec 13. On 1996 I was St. Lucia and I thought it would be fun to show my family what it was all about. Unfortunately it is nothing how it used to be. The lady in charge now is running it into the ground!! Oh well, enjoy the pics.

Oh no... not again

I know what you all are thinking. Do they do anything else besides go to Disneyland? This is the last time this year we are going. Partly because our passes are blocked the rest of the year and partly because we are so tired!! We will of course go again in January for our niece Kennedy's birthday and it is less crowded then. 

We had so much fun this time around because we got to go with Jared's brother Jacob and his family.  We stayed until late so we could watch the holiday fireworks!! We were so exhausted the next day we slept while Jared went to work!! We love Disneyland so much it helped us get into the Christmas spirit instead of being so bah humbug.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!!

LA Zoo

On Monday the kids and I went to the Los Angeles Zoo with Jared's brother Justin and his wife Elizabeth and kids.  I forgot how big and hilly that place is. I had Jared's camera and I couldn't figure out how to use it, that is why the pictures look weird. We were so tired after that adventure we went straight home and into bed. But we had tons of fun!!!
