Katelyn's Temple Day

My husband's youngest sister Katelyn went through the temple on the 22nd of December. It was so wonderful because we were all able to be together in the temple for the first time ever.  It was such an amazing experience and I am so glad we were all able to go and share this special day with her. Of course we took pictures outside and they took about an hour of our time!! And believe it of not it was so cold outside!! Our noses were on the verge of falling off!! Afterwards we were supposed to all go to dinner but half of the group got stuck in LA so we ate in shifts. Besides that it was a good day.

10 years already?

The day after Christmas Jared and I went to my 10 year High School reunion. Since my class dropped the ball on planning something we just all met up at a bar/restaurant in Westlake and mingled. It was nice because it didn't cost us anything to go unless we bought drinks/food. We are planning a 15 year reunion the will be expensive so we'll see if we go or not. :)

Christmas activities

We had such a fun rewarding Christmas this year. My parents drove down from UT to spend it with us and they brought Santa's workshop with them. :) We are so thankful for them because they gave the boys a Christmas we never could have given them. They got a train/activity table that they just love!! Ian got a scooter that he rides on everyday and he is getting pretty good at it! We got some fun homemade gifts from the sisters-in-laws too!!  After the festivities Christmas morning we drove the Jared's parents house and spent Christmas day with the Pollock side. We forgot to take a lot of pictures when we were there. I'm ready for the new year and for Christmas to be over!!

Having a baby

I bet I scared you with that title, huh? One of my bestest friends had her baby boy last night. I went to go visit her in the hospital and got to visit and hold the baby. Definitely not ready to go through that again. This is her second so now we're even. When she is ready to have her third child then I will join her too.

Jungleland

Yesterday for my moms playgroup we tried something new! There is an indoor play area around where we live that isn't worth what it costs to play there but in the month of December you can get in for free when you bring a new unwrapped toy!! So enjoy the pics.
