Shoes

I don't know what the attraction is but Quintin LOVES shoes! He will go through all of the closets and find a shoe and put it on. Most of the time the shoes don't match, like today, but he enjoys wearing them anyways! This particular "pair" he found are of Ian's collection so they don't fit him well. :) Plus they are the wrong shoes for the wrong feet. Isn't he the cutest!!

Our Memorial Day

Our Memorial Day wasn't your typical holiday. We spent it moving Jared's brother and his wife who just bought a house in Spokane Valley, WA. And believe it or not it was actually a lot of fun!! Plus we got our BBQ after all, kind of!!

Visitor

This past weekend I had the opportunity to watch another child for the weekend. It was a complete volunteer basis and no money or goods were exchanged for the service. It was the most difficult weekend of my life. I am so not ready to have another child. The main problem was this child is an only child so there was a lot of whining when nothing was wrong. His parents were surprised that I got him to take a nap and go to bed at 8 when her normally is up until past 10 and refuses to take a nap. He learned very quickly that I don't take crap and you can't walk all over me. :) All in all I learned a lot this weekend and I think I would have rather had my niece MacKenzie. :)

Bye Bye Hair

Well, it's gone. My baby's cute hair is gone. It was an accident and Auntie Liz, we forgive you. :) What was going to be a haircut turned into a hair buzz. Oh well, he is still cute.

Yesterday the whole Pollock celebrated Mother's Day. The WHOLE Pollock family!! So you know what that means...yep...family pictures. Who knows when we will all be together again so we took the plunge and attempted family pictures. We have learned from previous attempts to bring candy to bribe the children into doing what you want them to do. It unfortunately didn't work to well on Ian, but we got a few usable pics. We had 3 cameras going and we took over 700 pictures! Don't worry, I am only posting a few. :)

Ian can put together those wooden puzzles so fast it is amazing!! Here he is doing 5 puzzles at once and I think he did it in under 2 minutes. He is amazing with puzzles! He definitely is left brained! I bet in a year he will be building a computer!! Watch out!!
