31 is such a fun number

This past week we got to celebrate Jared's 31st birthday. Since his birthday fell on a Sunday this year we had to do his fun celebration on a different day. :) On Sunday we had yummy cupcakes and I made Jared's birthday dinner. He wanted chicken enchiladas. Then on Tuesday we had a fun-filled day at Disneyland.  Enjoy the pics. :)

On Saturday the kids and I went to big sugar to pic up his favorite cupcakes.

The got a little bumped since Ian insisted on carrying them

Happy Birthday to Jared!!

The Disneyland Adventure begins.....

Waiting in line for Toy Story Midway Mania. Quintin kept running away and Jared had had enough!

On the Sun Wheel aka ferris wheel. We went on the one that swings back and forth and feels like you are going to fall. I was scared but the boys enjoyed it.

Afterwards we all went to Coco's for dinner. It was kids night so the kids ate free and there was a guy doing balloon animals for everyone!! We got a Goofy and a Donald. This guy was amazing!

Better late than never

Finally we cleaned off our patio and the cover is back on!! Just in time for.....winter? This summer the house was being painted and the patio cover was off to paint the patio so the sun beat in our back window every day this summer. Now finally we pressure washed the furniture and the patio and got it all ready to use...or not. Well since we live in California I guess we can use it all year round but it does get chilly here at night. Oh well. At least it looks nice.

Yes, Ian is in his underwear. It is hard to keep clothes on that kid.

By request

Many people have asked about my Chicken Pasta Salad so here it is. Super easy. I normally double the recipe for my family.

Ingredients:
2 cups bow-tie pasta
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
2 cups grilled chicken strips
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup italian dressing
1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
1/4 cup black olives sliced
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:
Cook pasta as directed on package adding the broccoli to the last 2 minutes of cook time; drain.

Toss chicken, tomatoes, dressing, shredded cheese, and olives onto large bowl. Add pasta mixture; mix lightly.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate several hours until chilled.

Note: I normally use the canned chicken from Costco and it taste great. :)

My Little Pumpkins

Today we had our first official trip to the pumpkin patch. The last couple of years we just picked up pumpkins at the local grocery store but this year since we live so close to an official pumpkin patch, we had to have an adventure. We visited a local farm call Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark. I took a lot of picture so I am warning you right now. And I didn't even post all the ones I took.

On the way. Don't we look excited?!

Picking out pumpkins

These are the 2 pumpkins we chose.

We stopped for lunch at Wienerschnitzel and Jared informed me I was the only woman in the restaurant. It was filled with construction workers on their lunch break. :) I guess real women don't eat chili dogs. :)

Our cute pumpkins. Can't wait to carve them :)
