Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday to the best Dad in the world. I love you so much. :) If I had our old school pics I would scan them and post them on here but they are in storage. :(

It's Official

As of a few days ago we have decided to move back to Utah. We plan on being there for an undisclosed amount of time until we move somewhere else and have a new adventure. We miss our house and while we have love living in CA we need our own space to live in while we figure things out.

We plan on moving back in May when our house opens back up (we were renting it out.) We will miss the warm weather in CA but it will be nice being close to my parents and sister in law. So look out Utah here we come....again.

Hiking

We just got back from a family hiking trip down Sycamore Canyon. We only hiked about a mile because of the little legs that were with us but we had fun looking at all the beautiful scenery and the Satwiwa Indian Village.  At the end of our hike we found a nice bicyclist who took our family picture. There were a lot of trips and falls and a lot of dirt but we had so much fun!!

Fishies Galore

Yesterday we had a FUN family trip to the AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC in Long Beach.  G and G Pollock met us there right after their cruise!! We had so much fun and Ian did not leave Grandmas's side the whole time!! And for everyone that doesn't know I am scared of fish/sea creatures and for the first time I touched all the things in the tide pool AND I pet a shark and a sting ray!!! A little screaming was involved but all in all a good feat!!

First Day of Primary

Today was Ian first day being a sunbeam in Primary!! He did so well through opening exercises and most of sharing time but by the time it was time for singing time he lost it. Many of you might or might not know I am the primary chorister in our ward.  I had a screaming Ian the whole time I was trying to teach a new song. And what did I do? I just ignored him and went on singing. He needs to learn that mommy is there for everyone and not just him. :) Here's hoping for a better next week.  But he looked so cute with his class. There were 8 sunbeams today but I think there are only 7 in his class normally.

Happy New Year

It's that time of year to reflect on the last year and to decide how you want this year to go. This year for my new years resolution I am not going to make any resolutions!! I never follow through with any of them. It is fun to make lists but not fun when you don't accomplish what is on that list. I have no expectation for this year at all. Let's just see what happens and make some memories along the way. Happy New Year.

Katelyn's Temple Day

My husband's youngest sister Katelyn went through the temple on the 22nd of December. It was so wonderful because we were all able to be together in the temple for the first time ever.  It was such an amazing experience and I am so glad we were all able to go and share this special day with her. Of course we took pictures outside and they took about an hour of our time!! And believe it of not it was so cold outside!! Our noses were on the verge of falling off!! Afterwards we were supposed to all go to dinner but half of the group got stuck in LA so we ate in shifts. Besides that it was a good day.
