Much anticipated CA Trip

The much anticipated trip to California came and went too fast but not before we could make some memories.

This is how the boys travel :)

We spend the first night at Justin and Liz's house and me being the smart person I am I locked BOTH sets of keys in the car. I was so tired when we got there late at night I didn't realize what I was doing. Thankfully Justin had breaking into car skills. :)

We spent 3 days going to Disneyland. It will be awhile until we can go back.

Quintin's favorite ride

This is how the kids passed time while camping out for the fireworks show. Every night we saw a show. Fireworks, world of color, fireworks again, Fantasmic.

We took the kids over to Tom Sawyer's Island. They changed a lot of it and made it Pirate themed because kids don't know who Tom Sawyer is anymore. :(

I think this was in the 3rd Pirate movie when they were all trapped on the island.

Quintin went on Finding Nemo with Daddy while I took Ian on Space Mountain.

On friday we decided to take a break from Disneyland and go to the aquarium.

We took turn burying the kids. :)

 On Saturday was Chad and Katelyn's wedding.  She is the last of Jared's siblings to get married. 

On Sunday Baby Austin was blessed. 

Then I drove back all by myself because Jared flew out for a 3 week training to Texas. :(

Park City

Today we went to Park City for the afternoon to ride the Alpine slides. This time we all got to go down!! 

So excited!!

It was hot but not too hot because Park city is on average 11 degrees cooler than Salt Lake. :)

Berry Family Reunion

I don't know why I was so slow to post this but last Sunday we drove all the way to Fish Lake, Utah (about 2 1/2 hours) to attend the Berry family reunion aka Jared's Dad's Mom's side of the family. It was so beautiful there on the lake. We had church in a cute log building before the reunion started.

Quintin was pouting because he wanted to play in the river but it made be nervous to have him leaning over a bridge over rushing water.

On the way back we went a different way so we could got through Manti to see the temple. When we got there we asked Ian where we were and he knew it was a temple!! Then he said, "The temple makes me happy." I love my boys.

We had such a wonderful time visiting with the Berry side of the family.  Can't wait for the next one.

Cascade Springs

Last Saturday we went for a ride around the Alpine Loop and went to Cascade Springs to walk around. It was really hot so we didn't stay there long but here are a few pics of the adventure. Jared took some more on his phone but I don't have them right now. I'll add them on later.
